If you have any medical or law enforcement connection, you can go for a ride along. I might have to sign up for this, so I can check out the other aspects of their program. I've often thought about pursuing this, but I'd have to transfer to the ER and work for at least 3 years there, more like 5 from what I hear before I could apply. Something to think about.
