Long time, no Blog...

Ok, I haven't blogged in a long time. The reason why not you ask? Well, it's a combination of I went back to work and I broke the wireless port on my laptop (stupid foreseeable event on my part.)

Since I last blogged the girls have grown tremendously. Riley is over 17 lbs and Sam is somewhere around 15 (we're guessing with her.) Riley is still toothless, however Sam has decided to continue sprouting teeth with or without her sister. She now has 4 coming through on the top which makes for a total of 6 teeth, and she's not even 6 months old yet!

We were going to wait for her sister to sprout teeth to feed them (mostly because mom is not ready to give up her special time with her babies), but it looks like we'll start before that happens. So, Halloween is the day we will start them on solids (rice cereal). We figured it would be a good treat for them since they can't have candy. We'll keep you posted on how it goes.

Other Sam and Riley news - we definitely have a trouble maker in the crowd. Sam takes every opportunity she has to pull Riley's hair while looking cute and innocent at the same time. She manages this by hiding her hand under Riley's head so it can't be seen - the only evidence that something is happening is Riley's howling. Of course we also think that Samantha might just be trying out new tricks, "Look mom, when I pull on this part of the baby she screams. Pretty neat, huh?"

Speaking of screaming, there's some going on now, so gotta run.
