Your weekly dose of trivia

Did you know that fruit cocktail by Del Monte is only canned once a year
in the middle of summer and each can has a shelf life of 3 years.

Also, the FDA regulates fruit cocktail. You may only call it fruit
cocktail if it has peaches (30 - 50%), pears (25 - 40%), pineapples (6
-18%), grapes (6 - 20%), and cherries (2 - 6%).

Thank goodness, or it would end up like some places' deli "fruit salad": green melon, yellow melon, and one chunk of watermelon. :-P

Love it and love the pictures in the tent. I haven't visited in a while. Got too busy with other things so just caught up on everything.

So, it could be "fruit cocktail" and be a total of 69% those fruit and... olives?
