Radiation Oncology

Went with my sister to see a radiation oncologist today. Such a vague science. He had a lot of good reasons for why she should do radiation therapy, but she had just as many for why she shouldn't. On the one hand, it's good to know that her case isn't so compelling that they could say, "Yes, you absolutely should do radiation", but on the other hand it would make the decision oh so much easier. Right now they strongly recommend it, but said they would respect her wishes if she opted not to do it.

Realizing that she's not thinking clearly right now due to the chemotherapy, she is postponing making a decision until she's done. They can't do radiation anyway until that time, so best to wait.
